Over 3,200 bluebells were carefully planted, bringing vibrant colour and increased biodiversity to our landscapes. These beautiful native wildflowers not only enrich the natural habitat but also play an essential role in supporting local wildlife, such as pollinators.
In addition to the bluebells, we planted 350 trees, including a special commemorative plantation to honour the coronation of King Charles III. Our Coronation Tree Plantation at Ibstock’s Leicestershire headquarters includes oak and maple trees, symbolising both strength and resilience. These trees have been set into the woodland planted in 2016, when over 17,000 trees were originally introduced to the area. This expansion builds on our long-term vision of creating sustainable and flourishing green spaces for future generations to enjoy.
At Ibstock, we are committed to sustainability and reducing our environmental footprint. Through initiatives like these, we aim to make meaningful contributions to the local ecosystem while supporting the global fight against climate change. Our efforts not only improve the aesthetic value of our estate but also enhance the health of the environment around us.
As we continue to grow, we are dedicated to maintaining our focus on environmental stewardship, aligning our operations with sustainable practices for the benefit of the planet and our communities.
