Not only this, but the look of the stone assists in getting planning approval through because it ticks all the boxes. Reconstructed walling stone enables housebuilders to replicate the colours and textures of natural stone walling.

“The Cotswold Village Stone gives that kind of creamy buff look in a split finish with an irregular front face but with consistent dimensions making it easier to lay compared with natural stone. Such natural stone comes in a variety of shapes and sizes and is expensive to quarry, cut and transport.”

Ibstock walling stone comes in a wide range of colour options and are designed to blend in alongside different stone styles throughout the UK . The range is available in three different finishes – split, pitched and cottage.

The local planning authority considered the material selection to be positive, which helped to speed up discharge of conditions.
